First day in Austin
The flight was not bad until Stacy was nice enough to let me sit by the window and then a few minutes later a huge man sit next to her. The flight from Dallas to Austin was late and we were late landing. We still got to our shuttle and made it to the Hilton and got our room and then off we went. We walked down 6th street and had a late lunch at Opal Divine’s. I had a Chimay White and then a Young’s Double Chocolate Stout. Both were good especially the cheese fries. Later that night we went to the Gingerman
for some beer, which they have the 330 ml bottles of Chimay. Stacy had a few to many of them and I had one, along with two Arrogant Bastards, Rouge Shakespeare Stout and then a few samples of various beers. That was enough for us for the first night and back to the room we went.
